Symptoms of decline in time of pandemic share are similar to seeds for a civil war

Exposing The Truth

In my opinion, an accurate depiction of the U.S. situation and the mind set that brings out a weak response to a pandemic and the likely situation that the pandemic will last longer in the U.S. than in other places.  Many ugly truths are exposed, light thrown onto them by a break down of normality.

A Stolen Election?

There is nothing, it seems, in the U.S. or individual State constitutions that explicitly specify how electors are selected for the Electoral College in a presidential election.  Below is a piece on how a state, gerrymandered to elect one party when the plurality of votes is for the other, to use a civil emergency (such as coronavirus pandemic) to choose the electors it wants.

Biden The U.S. Brezhnev?

A lot has changed in the last couple of weeks.  Bernie Sanders has lost momentum as U.S. Democrats seem to be choosing someone who would uphold the status quo and not change things too much.  This has led to some comparisons to Soviet leader Leonid Brehnev who was chosen by the Soviet politburo to keep things the same instead of reforming, which ultimately led to the collapse and disintegration of the Soviet Union.  A return to the status quo does not alleviate the conditions that led to a Trump election and such a victory may be short-lived.
